I drove to the national park in Þingvellir this morning. This is the Öxarárfoss waterfall. The surrounding area was covered with ice, which made the whole scene beautiful.
The image is manual mix of 2 exposures through ND filter using a tripod. Then some curves, levels and selective curves adjusments.
Picture of slide taken with digital camera through macro filter. I’ve had scanning issues. I hope to repost this in the future as a much sharper image.
There’s a fun video of me checking out my slides. For the Flickr On Location group.
I was so excited to finally be shooting on Velvia 50. What better place to test it out than at the Japanese Garden? This was from my first roll. Knocked my socks off when I got the slides back. So much colour and detail. If I could afford it, I’d probably shoot with Velvia 50 most of the time. Insanely cool. Can’t wait to plow through a few more rolls.
